Founded In 1856
Monty’s Pawnbrokers was founded all the way back in 1856. Monty’s was originally established on George Street in Sydney under the name N.S.W Monte De Piete, the French translation of the term pawnbroker; a place where advances are given against items at a fair price.
Today we are one of Australia’s leading pawnbrokers, offering very competitive loan rates. Our history and knowledge allows us to purchase and loan against one of the widest ranges of items. Monty’s Pawnbrokers friendly team has over 50 years combined experience and is here to help and offer obligation free advice.
